Anyway, Ashlee landed on the TV gig kind of like out of blue. Ashlee explained — “This guy called kind of randomly and was like, ‘Hey, we’re going to do a show. We’re trying to find the right people. It’s going to be called Zombie House Flipping.’ And I was like, ‘Uh, this guy is a scammer like I’ve no idea what he’s on about.’ And it sounded so bizarre, you know, so I was kind of like, ‘Yeah, yeah, whatever,’ and hung up.”
But the guy Ashlee initially thought was a scammer turned out to be a person who makes TV programs and she and her friend Justin found themselves making a show that they called for.
Ashlee has been on the show since 2014 and she says it has always been fun with a lot of shenanigans on set, and they are entertaining one another all the time.
